PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Graduate with a Head Start: Earn 12-15 college credits by the time you finish high school.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
- Your Future in Teaching: Students who complete the Educator Pathway will sign a letter of commitment, securing an opportunity to teach in Peoria Public Schools after meeting all educator requirements.
- Paraprofessional Exam Preparation: In your senior year, prepare for the Paraprofessional exam (available at age 18). With a signed letter of commitment, you can start working in Peoria Public Schools while attending classes in the evening and participating in the Grow Your Own program.
UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES BY GRADE LEVEL
- 9th Grade: Participate in job shadowing three times a year with current teachers.
- 10th-12th Grade: Enjoy paid work experiences through after-school and summer programs.
- 10th-12th Grade: Continue job shadowing three times a year across grade levels and schools, with dual credit options.
